AETB students are travelling to Moline, IL to participate as observers of the 2008 Quarter Tractor Competition. Team members are: Dustin Rhinewald, Drew Massey, Chris Maners, Hodge Hayes, Chase Mahalitc, Patrick Williams, Chase Pearson, Joe McDaniel. The faculty supervisor going with the team is Dr. Jeremiah Davis. Good Luck Team!!

The Undergraduate students of the MSU iGEM team was nominated for Undergraduate Research Excellence Award. They will be honored in a Banquet on the 29th of April

The Agricultural and Biological Engineering Building
We have moved from Howell Engineering building to our new facility at 130 Creelman St.!

The Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Mississippi State University provides students with opportunities to pursue careers in the fields of agricultural engineering technology and business, agriculture and natural resources, biomedical engineering, medicine, and environmental engineering.

The department consistently has attracted some of the top academic students at Mississippi State. The faculty interacts extensively with the undergraduate and graduate students and involves them in many multi-disciplinary projects. More than 6,000 square feet of instructional and research facilities include separate labs for bio materials, corrosion and tissue engineering, environmental and agricultural studies, bio mechanical testing, electronic fabrication and testing, fiber processing, GPS/GIS, renewable bio-energy, and student computing resources. Other opportunities for undergraduate students include: Honors program, and Co-op. The academic minors offered are in the following areas: Leadership, Math and Statistics, Computer Science, and Software Engineering. There are also certificate programs in the following areas: Entrepreneurship, Materials, Six Sigma, and Software Engineering. Summer research opportunities, study abroad, and internships are also available.
